To reduce the electricity bill of your Bullhead City home , you can do several things To start off, you can switch to compact fluorescent bulbs in lamps that are turned on for longer than two hours per day. Lasting 10-20 times longer than typical bulbs, flourescent bulbs are 6-8 times more energy effective.

When they are not in use, unplug devices like iPod chargers or oscillating fans. Even when they aren't turned on, they still use up some juice. While heating up small foods that do not need to be pre-heated, use an energy efficient microwave or toaster oven.

Change your computer off or to "standby" mode when you finish use. You could reduce the price of running a computer by 85 percent simply by using a laptop as opposed to a desktop. Don't open up your fridge door often or for long amounts of time and set the temperature to 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Lastly, just use the dryer for full loads, if possible, line dry, and use cold water for washing. By beginning with these small steps, you are going to decrease your carbon dioxide emissions and save money on your monthly bills.
