Several Bullhead City home owners are living off the land. According to the United States Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service, farm living has increased at the rate of 2 percent a year. Farming for money is not what most owners are interested in.

Since farming requires so much work, it isn't for everybody. One more reason why people steer clear from moving to a farm is because of isolation. However, living on a farm could be for you. That is, if you enjoy open space and are wanting a challenge.
